A woman is a woman

a woman is a woman

rearranging books on a shelf

unpacking souvenirs from travels

watering her plants

laying on her bed, her foot resting on her knee

and legs swaying to the humming wind

Reading Dostoevsky

she cooks, washes and showers

writes, meditates and dances

she makes any house a home

with or without

a husband
